Tristan Marcus is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. She works exclusively with clients in the Orlando area in private practice at Orlando Thrive Therapy, Coaching, and Counseling's Downtown Orlando location.
Tristan works with young adults, women and men, using a holistic, strength-based approach to overcome negative beliefs about themselves or about the world. She uses EMDR to assist in unraveling these beliefs and heal from unprocessed memories, traumas, or anxieties. Tristan believes all clients deserve to feel safe and accepted while on this journey to becoming the best versions of themselves. She is certified as an Animal-Assisted Therapy Interventionist, using the dynamics of the human-animal bond to help clients process difficult emotions, alleviate stress, ground themselves in session, and improve their overall wellbeing. Clients can expect to find one of Tristan’s therapy dogs, Maya or Josie, in office on any given day.
Tristan enjoys working with clients from all walks of life, but especially those who may find traditional talk therapy to be intimidating or ineffective. She often uses evidence-based practices like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based skills to assist clients in learning how to cope with intense emotions or experiences. Tristan strives to fully integrate all aspects of holistic wellness into her practice to provide clients with the best possible outcomes.
Please contact Tristan to find out more about her approach and to schedule an intake appointment to get started.
Note about insurance: Orlando Thrive Therapy, Coaching, and Counseling is a self-pay practice, so we do not work with any insurance companies directly. Tristan offers individualized treatment plans which incorporate a unique combination of expert psychotherapy, mindfulness, CBT, couples intervention techniques, and lifestyle coaching. Her rates are based on the services you receive based on your unique circumstance.
When you schedule your first session, you will be sent a link to complete electronic paperwork. The first session will focus on getting to know one another and identifying your goals for therapy. This will help to determine your overall plan and how often you will need to meet for therapy. Tristan can also incorporate the use of Animal-Assisted therapy at your request. Your session will be individualized just for you to achieve the results for personal growth you are seeking.
Tristan’s rates for a 50-75 minute therapy session are based on the service you receive and will be discussed during your initial contact. Payment is based on the services requested.
