Joyce Dolley is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) with the state of Florida. She works exclusively with Orlando Thrive Therapy, Coaching, and Counseling in Orlando at their Winter Park counseling office.
Joyce specializes in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as supporting couples and families in improving communication, resolving conflicts, and fostering stronger relationships. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, specifically Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy. Joyce brings additional expertise to help anyone seeking mental health therapy through her trainings in Trauma-Focused Behavioral Therapy, Social and Behavioral Training, Suicide Prevention, Psychological First Aid, Secondary Trauma Stress, and Skills for Psychological First Aid. These specialized skills enable her to provide effective support for individuals navigating crises, trauma recovery, and emotional challenges. She is also Gottman Level 1 trained for couples and incorporates EFT (Emotional Focused Therapy) to provide an integrative approach when working with couples facing infidelity, poor communication, issues with trust, intimacy, or contemplating divorce. She also works with blended families, step-parents, and family members seeking support for internal family systems.
Joyce is also trained in sand tray therapy; A powerful, non-verbal therapeutic tool that offers all ages a creative, meaningful way to explore, process and relate their experiences. When appropriate, she incorporates mindfulness techniques and expressive arts into sessions.

Joyce holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Stetson University as well as a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from Barry University. Joyce is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern with the State of Florida.
