Sarah Gomaa is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. She works exclusively with individuals through therapy in the Orlando area in private practice at Orlando Thrive Therapy, Coaching, and Counseling at our Winter Park location.
Sarah utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy while drawing on a variety of interventions. When working withindividuals, Sarah uses her extensive experience with working with a wide range of presenting concerns across various age groups, as well as families to equip her clients with the tools they need to overcome obstacles and become the best version of themselves. Sarah enjoys working with clients from diverse backgrounds and communities and believes in using culturally informed therapeutic techniques.
In her work with couples, Sarah utilizes her training in The Gottman Method, while incorporating Imago Therapy and Emotion Focused techniques to focus on deepening connections, while processing emotional wounds, conflict, and communication to foster fulfilling relationships.

When you schedule your first session, you will be sent a link to complete electronic paperwork. The first session will focus on getting to know one another and identifying your goals for therapy. This will help to determine your overall plan and how often you will need to meet for therapy. Sarah's counseling space will welcome you immediately and her open demeanor will encourage you to feel instantly safe.
Sarah's rates for therapy vary based on the service provided. She offers prepaid memberships at a reduced rate and will gladly discuss this offer during your initial consultation. Payment is due at the time of your session.
Sarah is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Central Florida in Clinical Psychology. Her mental health experience in the psychology field prior to private practice included providing therapy to college students as well as individual and group therapies in inpatient and outpatient settings to adolescents, adults, and families with mental health struggles and to at-risk youth. Sarah is open, honest, and prides herself in creating a space where clients can be their true self.
