Heather Oller is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida, a qualified mental health counselor intern supervisor, a Florida certified family and divorce mediator, and a qualified parent coordinator for the ninth judicial circuit. She is a certified anxiety specialist through the National Association of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapists and a Level 1 Gottman Method Couples Therapist. Heather Oller is the visionary and founder of Orlando Thrive Therapy, Counseling, and Coaching, LLC. She has built a team of professionals that are committed to integrative counseling care. Along with running the practice full-time, she continues to provide exclusive therapy to Orlando professionals, and couples in crisis.
Heather Oller isn’t your average Orlando therapist. With over 24 years of mental health experience, she has a base knowledge and professional experience that creates the foundation for her therapeutic approach. This core element is combined with an intuitive authenticity that can only be found in someone that has dedicated their life’s work to finding and using the best integrative therapy techniques available to help individuals and couples achieve their therapy goals. In 2008, she began her work in private practice as a sole practitioner, helping Orlando clients achieve success, personal fulfillment, and relationship satisfaction. It wasn’t until 2015 that her mission statement became clear and her vision for establishing an integrative counseling practice became a reality. She has spent the last 24 years perfecting a variety of therapeutic skill sets that have answered the highest needs of her clientele. This has included specific work in the areas of anxiety relief, life coaching, conflict resolution, marital & couples therapy interventions, and becoming a supervisor for mental health counselor interns. She combines a mix of life coaching, therapeutic interventions, solution-focused techniques, and evidence-based strategies into her thriving practice for the highest quality of care.
Her vision of integrative counseling is based on the knowledge that there is no one treatment that helps all. She believes that you deserve to have access to more than just the “standardized” formula for care. The practitioners that have been selected to work within her practice share this vision as well and they all have the same burning desire to learn more, grow more, and be able to share more with the clients they are privileged enough to work with. There should never be any limits to what you have access to in order to heal your mind, body, and soul. You have the right to choose the highest quality of care for the best outcome. At Orlando Thrive Therapy, Coaching and Counseling, integrative means that you have access to a variety of therapeutic interventions that will allow you the best opportunity for growth, empowerment and better quality of life. You have the right to thrive, rather than just survive.

When you schedule your first session, you will be sent a link to complete electronic paperwork. The first session will focus on getting to know one another and identifying your goals for therapy. This will help to determine your overall plan and how often you will need to meet for therapy. Heather will provide you a warm, welcoming, authentic space that will make you feel comfortable to begin working immediately on your therapy goals. No time will be wasted. You are valued. You matter.
Heather’s rates for a 50-90 minute therapy session vary based on the service provided. She accepts new clients on a very limited basis and availability. While the practice stays at the forefront of her mind, her first passion is still helping people achieve their therapy goals quickly. As a Qualified Supervisor for several clinicians within the practice she will often refer to those specific providers and can still be a part of the overall therapeutic process. Please contact her directly to find out if she has availability for new clients
Heather Oller holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!) and a Masters of Science degree in clinical mental health counseling and psychology from Troy State University. Heather spent the first decade of her mental health career working in community mental health agency work, leading a residential program, supervising community case managers, and learning that the community mental health field was not the best fit for her. It was heavily reliant on seeing client's as "sick," pharmaceutically driven, and required every client to be defined by a diagnosis or they could not receive treatment. Once she became licensed, opening a private practice spoke to her soul and her real community work began. She was able to impact lives and help people create the changes they desperately were seeking but didn’t know how to get started. She believes that clients should be seen as more than an illness and treated uniquely with individualized, collaborative care that is not dictated by pre-determined plans. With the right tools and resources, everyone has the ability to create personal change and have a better quality of life. She has a very unique approach to therapy, which provides her clients with this opportunity for change. That is why individuals from all over Orlando seek out the help from her and the team at Orlando Thrive Therapy.
